Protocols were nice, even ones as simple as setting up and making tea. It also gives him time to push thoughts down before replying to Poe's offer, not really wanting to get into just how much he enjoyed looking after Poe. Weakness was a mortal sin in the Order, but helping the weak far worse of an offense. Never mind the added blasphemies of love and affection. Just how much the entire past few weeks would have made Phasma's head explode was enough to bring back an amused smile back to his face. But being allowed to indulge in all of it at the same time....it was something he was going to miss. A little. Not as much as he was relieved to have Poe back to his normal self, of course. But there it was.
