I didn't forget anything. Had a few of my memories seen by other people, and I got a taste of why Kylo Ren's so disturbed. That kid has a lot of anger in him.

That's the second time you've mentioned this Finn. He someone from back home?

Kylo Ren is not someone you want to tangle with, Lando. Trust me.

[There's a pause before he sends his next reply, because it's not something he really likes to discuss, but--]

Let's just say I had a lot fewer nightmares, after forgetting about him.

But wait -

Have I not introduced you to Finn??

Man I have been off the ball.

Yeah, Finn's my buddy from back home. You'd like him.

He's Han's kid, Poe.

[ That's as close as he'll come to saying "I have to at least try." ]

Yeah? Tell me more about him. You met fighting the war?

No. I knew Han's kid. Ben Solo was a sweet kid, and Kylo Ren is not him. Not anymore.

[He writes and deletes about four more texts.]

Sure. Finn and I met when he rescued me from being tortured by Kylo Ren indefinitely.

If that makes things any more clear.

[There's another pause.]

Sorry. He keeps trying to tell me to leave the war where it was, and I'm trying. He's a better man than me, Lando.

Sounds like you've got a good thing going. Don't lose that.

[He pauses, though, because he can't help but think of a 'good thing' probably a little more deeply than Lando (or Finn) mean it.

And after talking to Finn about Thanksgiving--

Well, he wants to talk about it.]

That's probably something you ought to clear up. Sooner than later.
