i know but you also have to realise that isn't necessarily your fault? if you had lied and said yes, all while liking this other person, that would've just dragged more hurt into it there was no good or easy way to do this and it's going to be hard but he'll have to accept that sometimes things don't work out the way he plays them in his head you said no. that was your choice. he can't change it. his expectations of you aren't on you and i'm not saying he's wrong for having those feelings i just i don't know i'm hoping he can eventually come to see this as just one of the shitty parts of life that everyone has to go through

he is, and he deserved better than being rejected on national tv but you also didn't deserve to be put in that position you're both idiots its just important how you move on from this doesn't end up with you hurting each other more

when i was in this situation i was told to give him space so give it a couple days, even if it means you're both stewing you're on a space station so you won't be able to avoid each other and you might need to work together in a crisis and i'm sure you can do that fine with your experience but frankly i don't trust odin to not do something stupid as shit do you know what you would say to him if he wanted to talk again? i'm not about to tell you or anything. i'm just interested.

Kay sent me some books to read so - yeah. Going to try to give him as much space as I can. But don't worry, Archie. He's smarter than you think. And I'm not about to let anything happen to him.
