"like" love isn't the same as love

I get a little frustrated with people implying droids can't feel it, you know? Like I know they can, I've seen it. Sexual attraction is something else entirely but I don't think love is in question.

Loyalty and love look very similar, don't they? For humans, they're certainly comparable.

But I've also never seen another droid 'fall in love.'

and I can't say exactly what he was feeling? But BB-8 had a friend of his - another astromech - that liked him so much it did a bunch of work on my ship just to impress him. Then I think they went on a date? I didn't ask. He seemed happy to just go do his thing.

Yeah. And not like just a partner thing - I hadn't even met Ivee before she fixed my ship. So I assume they met each other on the base before then, at some point.

it was really cute, but it was also a little like 'man i haven't had a date in two years. BeeBee is getting more action than I am.
