Their initial programming doesn't include emotions, but I've been encouraging him to explore them, and stretch out a little. Vacuuming all day isn't good for anyone.

Maybe just try being nice to him.

But maybe if he didn't think you were just one wakeful night from giving him a memory wipe, Ex wouldn't either.

He just thinks we like our toast wrong. He is very particular than toast. If I've learned anything, it's that everything loves to complain to someone who can listen.

Seriously, Finn, nothing in our house is out to get you. Most of them are too wrapped up in their own weird lives to notice us much at all. Ex is an exception, since he's basically this planet's version of a basic AI.

Yeah, because most of the other houses treat them like furniture. It's kind of hard to treat something like furniture when it's talking to you.
