[For a few seconds, he's hopeful. Okay. Not too bad. Tempo is upbeat. The cute earth instruments are strumming. All good, right?

It only lasted a few seconds.

He let it play as he finished up his nighttime ritual. Brushing his teeth. Flossing.

He paused mid way through, the floss stuck somewhere between his canine and an incisor, and he sighed, leaning forward to press his forehead to the cool glass of the mirror.



He could almost hear Odin say every damn word in this song.

And he deserved everything that he wanted.
